Patent No. 6052336 Assignee: Austin Lowrey Associates , Springfield, VA (US) Apparatus and method of broadcasting audible sound using ultrasonic sound as a carrier (Lowrey, III, Apr 18, 2000) Abstract An ultrasonic sound source broadcasts an ultrasonic signal which is amplitude and/or frequency modulated with an information input signal originating from an information input source. If the signals are amplitude modulated, a square root function of the information input signal is produced prior to modulation. The modulated signal, which may be amplified, is then broadcast via a projector unit, whereupon an individual or group of individuals located in the broadcast region detect the audible sound.  Notes: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention is directed to an apparatus and method of broadcasting an audible sound, and in particular, to an apparatus and method of broadc...

Patent No. 3117571 Production of reversible changes in living tissue by ultrasound

Patent No. 3117571   Production of reversible changes in living tissue by ultrasound (Fry, et al., Jan 14, 1964) Notes: Production of reversible changes in living tissue by ultrasound. Filed February 1957, granted January 1964. States that to use ultrasound, the bone in the way needs to be removed. This patent would not work for the psychotronic effects, unless the ultrasound was modulated in some way and used on someone before their skull had hardened or become fully formed (grew together). Or during a process where the skull had already been removed. Does say that irreversible changes can be accomplished with the devices and methods as listed in this patent. Mentions that ultrasound can not be used when a space containing gas (air or other) is in its path in the way mentioned in the patent. Also says that it can be used to suppress electrical activity in the brain when the above conditions are met.
